Coach Excursion Russian - Paphos and Aphrodite

• Short stop at Geroskipou village at the Cyprus Delights shop (approx. 15 mins)

• Aphrodites’s Rock (the legendary birthplace of the Greek goddess of love and beauty) free time for swimming and photos (approx 45 mins)

Return in Larnaca around 18:00, Ayia Napa around 18:30 and Protaras around 19:00

Notes: Please advised that all visitors must dress appropriately when visiting Saint Neofitos Monastery. NO TANK TOPS AND NO SHORTS ALLOWED FOR MEN OR WOMEN!

We set off towards Paphos and stop for coffee at Chirokoitia we then travel to Curium (Kourion), one of the most important archaeological sites of the island. Here you will see the ancient Greco-Roman theatre where gladiator games took place and the House of Eustolios with its mosaics and bath establishments. Curium is situated on a 100m limestone 'headland' overlooking the sea and offers some breathtaking views of the Episkopi Bay.

We then drive to the western hills of Paphos and find St Neofytos Monastery and church (the latter built in a natural cave, with a small chapel).

Continuing, we drive to the harbour area, where you could choose to take the opportunity (optional) to visit the UNESCO world Heritage Archaeological site of Mosaics. (The house of Dionysus) An interesting guided tour of the well preserved mosaics and palatial grounds and ruins. If you choose not to visit the Mosaic site, use this time to browse around the harbour and have lunch at one of the lovely tavernas at your leisure.

Returning home, we stop at Geroskipou. The village where traditional Cyprus Delights are made – this local delicacy has been made in the village since 1895.

Our final stop is at the Rock of Aphrodite, which is the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of beauty and love. According to Greek mythology, as soon as Aphrodite was born, white sea foam carried her in the sea, from Kythera in Greece to Cyprus. As per the legend, anyone who swims around the Rock will be blessed with eternal beauty! Time will be given for photos and swimming before we drive back to the east coast of the island.

• Be Ready at the pick up point at least 5 minutes before the pick up time in case the bus arrives earlier.
  
• Have your ticket / voucher with you on the day of the excursion and give it to the bus driver when you are picked up.
  
• Take your swimwear and towel with you on this excursion for the free time for swimming.
• Dress appropriately for entrance into the monasteries and holy places - no shorts or tank tops allowed in religious places.
  
• You can carry food and drinks with you, but consumption is not allowed on the bus. Only water consumption is allowed on the bus.
• Meals are not included in our excursion price.
  
• Time spent at each pick up point and excursion stop are approximate estimates and could change depending on road traffic.
  
• Front seats can be reserved for people with disabilities
  
• Infants up to 24 months travel free and will not be charged. Children 2-12 years are allowed a 50% discount of the adult price.
• All travellers must by law wear a face mask on our buses at all times during the excursion.
• All travellers must by law have with them their "CYPRUS FLIGHT PASS' on the day of the excursion.
• All travellers must keep the same seats on the bus during the excursion and not change seats!

• Pay a deposit to secure your booking
• Receive a confirmed ticket displaying a ticket number
• Present ticket to the bus driver of the Excursion
• Pay outstanding balance to the driver of the Excursion
• The tour may be cancelled for free until 24 hours before the date of tour, if cancelled after that or in case of no show, the whole amount of the deposit will be charged.

• Passengers who fail to give at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations and passengers that do not show up on the day of the excursion, forfeit all moneys paid and will not be given a refund.
